When I first started knitting, I simply loved the process of creating something with my own two hands. Watching a single strand of yarn become a finished piece always felt a little like magic. Over time, though, I realized that I wanted my work to have an even deeper purpose.
That’s what led me to specialize in handmade baby knits.
Every Stitch Tells a Story
A baby blanket is more than just a blanket.
It’s the one tucked around a newborn on the ride home from the hospital. It’s spread across the floor for tummy time, wrapped around sleepy shoulders during late-night cuddles, and packed into diaper bags for family adventures. Over time, it often becomes a cherished keepsake, carrying memories long after a child has outgrown it.
Knowing that something I knit may become part of a family’s story is what inspires me every time I cast on a new project.
Handmade Is Personal
In a world where so many products are made by machines, there’s something meaningful about choosing an item that was made slowly and intentionally.
Every blanket, lovey, and accessory I create is knit by hand. I spend hours selecting colors, planning designs, and paying attention to the little details that make each piece unique.
There’s no assembly line—just yarn, needles, creativity, and care.
Designing for Modern Families
One of my favorite parts of creating baby knits is choosing color palettes that feel timeless, calming, and versatile. I love soft neutrals, gentle pastels, and combinations that complement a variety of nursery styles while still feeling warm and inviting.
My goal is to create pieces that are just as beautiful displayed in a nursery as they are being used every day.
